Course Outline

Learning objectives

  • Gain a clear understanding of the elements, operations, and principal processes of a Quality Management System.
  • Recognize the connections between ISO 9001 and other relevant standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Grasp the strategies, methods, and techniques employed in the implementation and management of a QMS.

Educational approach

  • Hands-on exercises feature illustrative examples and facilitated discussions.
  • Mock exams are designed to closely resemble the actual Certification Exam.
  • Day 1: Overview of quality concepts, QMS fundamentals, and Clauses 4–6 of ISO 9001.
  • Day 2: Detailed review of Clauses 7–10 of ISO 9001 and the final certification exam.

The examination is fully compliant with the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certificate Programme. It assesses the following competency domains:

Domain 1: Core concepts and principles of quality management and QMS as defined by ISO 9001.

Domain 2: ISO 9001 requirements for a quality management system, specifically covering Clauses 4 through 10.
