  • Understanding the BCM process and identifying the stages involved (inputs, activities, and outputs)
  • BCM as an enabling function within the organization
  • Integrating the BCM process with other organizational workflows
  • Evaluating the current state of the BCM process and determining steps for improvement
  • Designing a BCM process from an organizational perspective
  • Differentiating between tasks, roles, and policies
  • Formulating the BCM policy and documenting it appropriately.
     

Module 2: Recognizing Threats and Vulnerabilities

  • Assessing the impact when products or services are not delivered as agreed
  • Defining acceptable maximum downtime for processes
  • Implementing preventive measures and understanding their application
     

Module 3: Creating and Executing a Business Continuity Plan

  • Identifying the key components of a plan
  • Evaluating the costs and benefits associated with each plan
  • Assigning responsibility for specific plans within the organization
  • Structuring the plan effectively
  • Ensuring organizational resilience and recovery following a disruptive event
