21 HoursThe PAQ is a three-day, experiential training programme designed to prepare candidates for the certification exam, with a strong emphasis on developing practical skills that can be directly applied in the workplace.
The exam is structured as a 'hands-on' assessment. Candidates are provided with a product backlog release, which includes user stories, relevant design documentation, and a 'multi-drop' application pre-loaded with defects. Participants receive detailed instructions outlining the expectations for the practical assessment and are given the opportunity to produce the required work products. Each assessment includes one or two additional scenario-based questions requiring written responses (with a maximum of five questions in total) covering various competencies. These written answers are marked alongside the responses to the product backlog release by an independent assessor. The assessment duration is 2.5 hours.
