Certified Network Defender | CND Training Course
The Certified Network Defender (CND) is a vendor-neutral, hands-on, instructor-led comprehensive network security certification training programme. This skills-based, laboratory-intensive programme is grounded in the security education framework and work role task analysis outlined by the National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF), as well as the job-task analysis and cybersecurity education framework established by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE). The curriculum has also been aligned with global job roles and the Department of Defense (DoD) job roles for system and network administrators.
The programme equips network administrators with the knowledge to identify which parts of an organisation require review and testing for security vulnerabilities, and how to reduce, prevent, and mitigate risks within the network. CND adopts a protect, detect, respond, and predict approach to network security.
